Megistus-sama proving once again he is the best character in the show

Grandpa Lampshade • 2 years ago

Everyone wishes they worked for Megistus

Xandiel • 2 years ago

He reminds me of Hank Scorpio - just the best evil villain boss that I'd love to work for.

wwlaos • 2 years ago

♪♫ Scorpio! He'll sting you with his dreams of power and wealth. Beware of Scorpio!

His twisted twin obsessions are his plot to rule the world, and his employees' health.

He'll welcome you into his lair, like the nobleman welcomes his guest... with free dental care and a stock plan that helps you invest!

But beware of his generous pensions, plus three weeks paid vacation each year, and on Fridays, the lunchroom serves hot dogs and burgers and beer! He loves German beer! ♫♪

Well in a way, love is quite traumatic.

Agastia is an evil organization....how again?

Ritsulove • 2 years ago

It's like in all those mafia TV shows. When they're just among themselves living life, everything is actually pretty normal. The only difference is that they turn murdery once in a while.

Fayt Leingod • 2 years ago

evilly good and with good ethics

Nomadic FIzzle • 2 years ago

I feel bad for the people who don't know how much fun this show is. Every episode has been increasingly more amusing.

Ritsulove • 2 years ago

Agreed. It doesn't seem from the thumbnail, but this is quality anime.

Dragnorock • 2 years ago

I was reluctant to watch it myself from the description. Then after I had more free time and nothing to do, just decided to give it a shot since I was burned out a bit from the norm. It was surprisingly way better then I thought it was going to be.
I totally would not mind if this evil organization took over the world.

Megistus just shines every episode.

Anime animusphere • 2 years ago

Camula indirectly became an idol! Imagine bragging about being such a fan on a conversation with another by saying "You heard about Mummy right? My cell is inside her!"

wwlaos • 2 years ago

"My cell is inside her!" That right there will spark the tabloid rumors which will destroy her career in a made-up scandal. *sigh*

Hinami Miura Kanazawa • 2 years ago

Megistus is best character lol

Ohms Nuttachai • 2 years ago

Tae-chan. Is that you?
And the VA of the idol monster happens to be the very same person who sings the ending theme. Very well played.

NightDevil00 • 2 years ago

So the Kaiju dev team has created a Mummy kaijin that can fight toe to toe with Blader but then Mummy left after seeing an idol broadcast on television because apparently Mummy wants to become an idol.

Also, how much does Agastia operate in the open when Megistus is practically the CEO of the company.

arnold quek • 2 years ago

Apparently, their cover companies are pretty well-off.

Cosmetics, Make-up, ladies' health product, a mobile game division(so they either have a publisher company, or have an in-house development company), and they own the local amusement park(that Cannon and Hydra-chan work at as mascots), heck, didn't Megistus go off on a tangent because of Melty being made of dangerous produce?(the chocolate manufacturers were caught mixing minute amounts of metals into their products) Which means that they likely have a wholesale/food store management company/franchise. With Mummy added in, I wouldn't be surprised if they also started up a talent agency after this.

And then, there's their intelligence department. I wouldn't be surprised if they are actively working with the in-universe Japanese Government, providing them with intel that would otherwise be difficult to obtain. As you know, Defense contracts are VERY profitable(due to NDAs).

Edit: Also, it looks like Megistus is also a music producer in the in-universe music industry.(operating under a pseudonym).

NightDevil00 • 2 years ago

Cannon and Hydra aren't the only kaijin working in that amusement park but their seahorse kaijin is too. Either way, this just shows how much connections Agastia really has and how well-funded that supposed evil organization is. Let's not forget Agastia despite being an evil organization has very strong ethical standards and healthy work environment. They make it their mission to be a part of society. You can tell when Lady Camula has her concerns of kaijins taking over jobs that normally humans would benefit more from.

Dreamblade • 1 year ago

Meanwhile Blader is just a gyudon cook who got a sword in the mail, probably from someone at Agastia.

deathnlife • 2 years ago

At this point didn't Agastia already conquer the world with their companies?

Ian Nava H • 2 years ago

I love how the one voicing the title of next episode has given up on reading them and just says "next episode, see you soon!"

Jerome W Bison • 2 years ago

3:00 Oof!!!
9:38 Welp!!!
11:03 He does looks like Red XIII from Final Fantasy 7.
19:26 Ohh, they went mono to stereo with that added bass for the soundtrack.
21:19 Megistus wrote the song!?!! Since he can do everything, why he ain't the leader again!?!! Lol!!!

21:47 And even captured the Protagonist Heart in the progress. Or sheer terror as what the narrator said, Lol!!!

Wasn't expecting a homage to Zombie Land Saga, especially since 'Mummy' is as close to the girls from that series. Namely Tae Yamada/Number 0, who is the only one that has yet gain a personality, compared to the other girls.

Was very nice of Camula to jumpstart her vocal chords to form in order to sing.

Only downside is the budget wasn't up to what the episode demanded.

Warhion • 2 years ago

21.47 you mean main enemy
